Within the last few months, I cloned a bitlockered Windows NTFS drive to image using Clonezilla. During the process, it prompted me to enter the bitlocker recovery key. It advised me that it would apply the same bitlocker encryption on restore. I don't recall if I needed to restore it. However, today I wanted to clone to image another PC with Bitlocker on Windows 10, and it isn't prompting for the bitlocker key to allow it to decrypt on-the-fly. I can still clone the drive to image, but it will copy RAW, taking longer, copying every last bit of the full "C drive" partition including unused space, not able to compress. The only thing that may be different, I don't recall if the source OS last time was Windows 10 or 11. Or, I did it in Clonezilla beginner mode last time, when I normally use expert.
Am I missing a setting in Clonezilla? I'll play around with it in the meantime, and report back if I stumble upon the fix.
